Mirrors also play a crucial role in geometric optics. There are two types of mirrors: concave mirrors and convex mirrors. A concave mirror curves inward and can form real or virtual images, depending on the position of the object relative to the mirror. On the other hand, a convex mirror curves outward and always produces virtual, reduced images. Mirrors find applications in telescopes, rearview mirrors, and even makeup mirrors.
