While the Standard Model has been incredibly successful in explaining and predicting many particle physics phenomena, there are still unanswered questions that it does not address. For instance, it does not incorporate gravity, and it does not account for dark matter or dark energy, which make up a significant portion of the universe's mass and energy. This has led physicists to search for theories beyond the Standard Model, such as supersymmetry and string theory.
