Multiplication (×): Multiplication is repetitive addition. It allows us to find the total when we have equal groups of numbers. For example, multiplying 4 by 3 means we have four sets of three, giving us a product of 12. Think of multiplication as scaling or enlarging a number.

Division (÷): Division is the inverse operation of multiplication. It involves splitting a number into equal parts. For instance, dividing 10 by 2 gives us a quotient of 5. Visualize division as distributing or sharing a quantity.
