HTML Document Structure
In order to create a well-structured and organized web page, it is important to understand the basic structure of an HTML document. The structure consists of several essential elements that work together to define the layout and content of a webpage.
The first line of an HTML document is the DOCTYPE declaration. This informs the browser that the document is written in HTML and specifies the version of HTML being used. The current standard is HTML5, so the declaration will typically be <!DOCTYPE html>.
Inside the HTML tags, the entire document is enclosed. These tags mark the beginning and end of an HTML document.
Within the HTML tags, we have the head section. This section contains meta-information about the web page, such as the title that appears in the browser's title bar or tab. It is important to note that the content within the head section is not visible to the user on the webpage itself.
