Counting from 11 to 30 in Spanish

Welcome to the second part of our series on learning Spanish numbers. In this post, we will delve into the numbers 11 to 30 in Spanish. Let's get started!

In Spanish, the numbers from 11 to 15 have specific names: once, doce, trece, catorce, quince. From 16 onwards, the pattern becomes more regular by combining the tens (dieci-) with the units (e.g., dieciséis, diecisiete, dieciocho, diecinueve). After these, the pattern continues with the tens followed by the units (veinti- + a number).

Now, let's practice pronouncing these numbers:

Practice saying these numbers aloud to familiarize yourself with their pronunciation and rhythm. In the next post, we will explore counting from 31 to 100 in Spanish. Hasta luego! (See you later!)
