The incessant attacks from Goguryeo and Baekje, as well as the rising influence of Tang China, left Silla vulnerable and unable to withstand the onslaught. Despite alliances with Tang China, Silla's military and economic resources were strained, ultimately leading to the kingdom's inability to fend off external invasions.

The culmination of these internal and external challenges led to the fall of the once-great Kingdom of Silla, as it succumbed to the combined pressures from within and without.
