Gravitational forces are the invisible yet powerful forces that exist between objects with mass. This force is responsible for the attraction between objects on Earth and in space. But what exactly is gravity?

Gravity is the force that pulls objects towards each other. On Earth, gravity keeps us grounded and determines how objects fall when dropped. Without gravity, everything would float around weightlessly. But the effects of gravity extend far beyond our planet.

Take the example of the Moon. It is the gravitational force between the Earth and the Moon that keeps our satellite in orbit around us. Similarly, the Sun's gravitational pull allows Earth and other planets to orbit around it.

These examples demonstrate the fundamental concept of gravitational forces: the larger the mass of an object, the stronger its gravitational force. Moreover, the distance between objects also affects the strength of this force. The closer two objects are, the stronger the gravitational force between them.
